Samoa's children have better defenders today than they did two days ago.
In the past 2 days, educators, community members and policymakers completed our Child Online Protection Training of Trainers - a critical step in our journey Towards a Digitally Empowered Samoa. Huge thank you to our ITU experts, and to UNICEF for their presentations on the "Seek the Ways" and "Lahaa App" platforms.
Our participants did not just attend. They mapped vulnerabilities, challenged each other's thinking, and design their own training activities from scratch. This work matters
They received MCIT endorsed Certificates of Participation and have their ITU Certificate of Completion to acquire after the completion of the online course on the ITU Academy platform
We look forward to their certification and our collaboration in building a safer online community for our children.
