The incredible team consists of 40 dedicated Government IT Employees, along with 3 CERTNZ Staff, 10 members from various Pacific countries' CERTs, and 7 professionals from Australia Cyber Rapid Team. Together, we are ready to support the venues of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and operate a robust Security Operating Center. This marks a significant milestone as it’s the first time such an operation will take place in Samoa and the Pacific at this level! Afioga Lefaoalii Unutoa, CEO of the Ministry, emphasized the crucial roles of vigilance and teamwork. She encouraged everyone to embrace the opportunity to learn something new and to be prompt at all times. The whole team received their uniforms for the CHOGM meeting.
